Cory Hall 3F-5F Network Maintenance, Sat. 6/3

Between 11AM and 4PM on Saturday, June 3rd, we will be replacing access switches which provide wired and wireless network connectivity on the 3rd through 5th floors of Cory Hall.

During this time, networks in these areas will experience various interruptions:
– wireless networks on Cory 4F and 5F
– wired networks on Cory 3F, 4F, and 5F

EECS Mailing Lists, IRIS applications maintenance, May 9, 6pm

The Department’s Mailing List server lists.eecs.berkeley.edu and the IRIS application server iris2.eecs.berkeley.edu will be undergoing maintenance tonight, Tuesday May 9th, from 6pm to 7pm. The mailing lists and the IRIS Account & Network registration applications will be unavailable during this time. Any mail sent to lists.eecs.berkeley.edu during this time will be held and delivered after maintenance is complete.

Soda Hall 3F Network Maintenance, Sat. 5/13

Between 11AM and 4PM on Saturday, May 13th, we will be replacing the access switches which provide wired and wireless network connectivity to the 3rd floor of Soda Hall.

All wired and wireless networks on the third floor, except wired networks in server room 340, will be interrupted during this time.

Update 5/13 1PM: This work has been completed. Please email us at help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you notice any network connectivity issues.

Cory 2F Wired Network Outage, 4/28

Wired networks on the Cory Hall second floor were unavailable until approximately 10:51AM this morning due to unintended behavior by the 2nd floor access switch. Connectivity has been restored and network staff will be performing non-disruptive testing this afternoon to determine the exact root cause.

Between 11AM and 4PM on Saturday, April 29th, we will be replacing the access switches which provide wired and wireless network connectivity to the basement, first, second, and third floors of Cory Hall.

During this time, networks in the following areas will experience various interruptions and brief outages:
– Cory Basement: wired and wi-fi
– Cory 1F: wired and wi-fi (except for wired networks in room 165, which will not be affected)
– Cory 2F: wi-fi only
– Cory 3F: wired and wi-fi
