On Wednesday, June 4th, between 10AM and 12PM, we will be replacing the Ethernet switches in the Cory 165 server room. The current switches have reached the end of their useful life, and with the newer hardware we can begin to provide some limited 10G connectivity.
All systems in Cory 165 will experience a brief interruption in network connectivity, typically less than one minute, as connections are moved to the new switches. No action should be necessary, but a reboot may help if you notice any issues afterwards.
Update 6/4 11:32: This work has been completed. Please contact us at help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you notice any ongoing issues.
