March 3, 2026 by Derek Calderon

On Monday, March 23rd, we will be adding some new ports to the list of ports that are blocked by the EECS border firewall.

For detailed information about the changes, please see our EECS Firewall Ports page (this page requires login). The list of ports that we will add to the block list is at the bottom of that page.

Update 3/23 8:05AM: These changes have taken effect, and the new ports are now being blocked from off-campus. Please contact us at help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you have any questions or notice any issues.
