Microsoft will release their patches for the month on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

PRINT, RIS and WINSWW will automatically patch and reboot Wednesday, April 9th, at 3:00 am.

HERMES and macserver.eecs will be down for patching and maintenance Wednesday, April 9th, from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Print Queue Migration

On **Monday November 5th**, all print queues will have been migrated to another server, the transition should be seamless.

Please report all print problems to IDSG as soon as possible. Functioning print queues are our priority.

Print Hardware Fix

The windows print server is having hardware problems. One of the drives in the mirror had died and needs to be replaced, I will be doing that this morning. This should happen with out interrupting the service.

Server Patching on Wed, 10/10, 3pm-5pm

Microsoft will release their patches for the month on Tuesday, Oct 9th, 2007.

HERMES, PRINT, RIS and WINSWW will be down for patching *Wednesday, Oct 10th*, from *3:00pm to 5:00pm*.

macserver.eecs.berkeley.edu, which hosts the Mac software warehouse, will be down for maintenance at this time as well.

We are testing out patch management solutions. PRINT, RIS and WINSWW will reboot again at *3am* on *Oct 11th*.
