Cory Transformer Upgrade

Physical Plant will be shutting off all the power to Cory Hall to switch transformers on Wednesday night, June 4th from 7pm to 9pm. This will allow upgrade of our back up transformer located in the basement. The building will be closed from 6pm until 9pm for this event. Please ensure your lab equipment and computers are prepared for this event.

Note that CUSG will be on-site during this time, and will coordinate the shutdown of CUSG-supported servers in Cory Hall, and later will get them back online when the power is restored.

CUSG will attempt to power-off all CUSG-supported Cory Hall workstations (Windows PCs and Linux workstations) starting at 5:30pm. CUSG will power-off all CUSG-supported Cory Hall servers beginning at 5:45pm. Some may be online as late as 6:30pm, as we continue shut-downs remotely. Servers will be brought back online as soon as power is restored.

Soda Hall computer services should continue normally.
