Network Border Testing, 8/23/17

August 23, 2017 by Derek Calderon

Tomorrow, 8/23, between 12-1PM we will be performing tests of our new border router (specifically the BGP links to campus).

We have two uplinks, and will use the secondary link for this test, so no network interruptions are expected. In the event there is a connectivity issue, the test will be aborted immediately.

Please contact help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you have any questions.

UPDATE

[2017-08-23 12:56:54 | Derek Calderon]

We have completed this maintenance. The router will be left in the testing configuration until we receive confirmation from campus that routes are being transmitted properly.

If you are noticing connectivity issues, please email help@eecs.berkeley.edu.
