The Millennium research network will not be affected.
This upgrade is being performed to resolve certain bugs in the current software version so that we can move forward with our early-stage IPV6 deployment, which is currently targeted for this summer.

This upgrade has been completed and the network is back online. The wired network was offline for approximately 3 minutes and the wireless network took another 10 minutes to fully recover in all areas.
