Network Outage, Cory Hall 5th Floor, Friday Oct. 2

There is currently an unplanned network outage for the fifth floor of Cory Hall. Network staff are investigating.

Update 7:39: We have been able to get in touch with Cory Hall facilities staff and have learned that there was an unexpected power outage during this morning’s scheduled elevator maintenance. Electricians have been onsite and are working to restore power to the fifth floor at this time.

Power and network were restored to the fifth floor of Cory at approximately 8:09.

Update: The network has not recovered from the power outage as expected. Network staff are currently working to bring the affected switch back online.

Wired networking for the fifth floor of Cory Hall has been fully restored, and the wireless network is coming back online.
