Campus reported an unscheduled network outage earlier this morning, still in progress (check http://ucbsystems.org/ for updates), but it’s as yet unclear whether this is related. Updates will be posted here as they are made available.

Based on current data it appears that this issue was caused by a client configuration issue unrelated to the larger campus network outage. We have cut off network access to the source client and the service has stabilized. Network staff will continue to monitor the issue until the cause is confirmed. We apologize for the slow time to resolution as network staff was offsite at UCCSC today.
