Exchange front-end server OWA disk failure

We are rebuilding OWA after a disk failure. Exchange service through OWA (e.g. web access, or mobile client access) will be unavailable in the meantime.

Access via Outlook directly to FONTUS from machines on the EECS network may remain available, unless configured to access OWA using RPC-over-HTTP.

Outlook Web Access on OWA.eecs is up, but still malfunctioning. We are attempting to repair the installation.

Since there are very few remaining users of our EECS Exchange service, it became an easier matter to migrate these remaining accounts to an updated Exchange server, “exchange.eecs.berkeley.edu”. This is a virtual machine we set up for this migration, just to buy some time while we finalize plans to retire the EECS Exchange service entirely.

You can find web access to your Exchange account here: https://exchange.eecs.berkeley.edu

Outlook and mobile clients can be reconfigured to work with exchange.eecs, by just changing any occurrence of “fontus.eecs” or “owa.eecs” to “exchange.eecs” in your configuration.
