FONTUS remains offline with a hardware error. We will be working with Dell to see if it is correctable. Unfortunately, there is no ETA on getting FONTUS back into service at this time.

We have ordered replacement memory and battery for the RAID card in fontus. It seems that the existing memory module may have suffered damage from the last power outage.
Fontus will be down for the weekend as we await the replacement parts. Our hope is to restore service, so that we can assist the last few users of the EECS Exchange service migrate remaining contacts and data to bMail.

Repairs to FONTUS were successful, and Exchange Service is restored.
The problem was confirmed to be dead RAM on the RAID card, so we are considering this direct fallout from the last power outage. Once the RAM was replaced, the RAID setup needed to be restored so that FONTUS would boot properly.
