EECS Network Maintenance on Aug 12

The EECS switch that is serving south west side of Soda 3rd floor will experience brief outages on Friday, Aug 12, 2011 beginning at 6:00a.m. due to network maintenance.

The wired network will be offline and users will experience a brief (couple minutes) outage while the switch is rebooted to apply new firmware. Since some wireless networking devices are also fed by that device, wireless network at the floor will experience a brief outage as well.
