We are experiencing a variety of issues with the EECS border firewall, where connections to ports which should be open are being blocked. We are currently investigating.
Update 11:02: We have identified the issue and are working to restore the firewall holes for registered services (http/s, ssh, etc.).
Update 12:03: This issue should be resolved as of approx. 11:20 AM. We will continue to monitor the situation; please email us at help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you notice any ongoing issues.
Update 12:16: The issue has reoccurred and we are working to restore the firewall holes again.
Update 16:42: We believe we have identified the root cause, and firewall rules have been stable since about 12:30. We will continue to monitor the situation; please email us at help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you notice any ongoing issues.
