Downtime for network switch in Cory Hall

March 20, 2008 by IRIS Staff

One of the switches on the first floor in Cory Hall needs to have it’s brains replaced tomorrow morning, Friday, March 21, at 8:00 AM. Downtime should only be 5 or 10 minutes but we will reserve 30 minutes for safety.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

UPDATE

[2008-03-21 10:51:23 | Bing Wang]

The switch work today was postponed due to a class conflict and is being rescheduled for Monday 0800 AM March 24. The switch feeds a large number of ports in 165 Cory Machine room. Duration of the work will be aprox 5 to 10 minutes, but may drag on for half an hour if we encounter problems.

We are sorry if this causes any problems.
