Intermittent errors on 3rd floor (Soda Hall)

November 26, 2007 by IRIS Staff

IDSG is looking into the problem, but so far they have not found anything out of the ordinary.

UPDATE

[2007-11-26 15:36:19 | Janet Shu]

Some network packets from various clients on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Soda Hall were lost this morning, even though we did not see any errors from any production switch. Nevertheless, we did a “hitless MSM failover” for the Soda core router. After that, the problem was fixed.

Network services were restored around 1:09pm.
