Wireless Network Maintenance, 9/18/18 10PM

September 18, 2018 by Derek Calderon

We will be performing an upgrade of our wireless controllers tonight at 10PM. Wireless networks will be unavailable for 15-30 minutes during the upgrade.

The software update intends to resolve some existing bugs which have been triggering unexpected controller reboots, occasionally causing network outages.

This maintenance will not affect BWRC, as that controller has already been updated. All other EECS Wi-Fi locations will be affected. (Soda, Cory, SDH, Jacobs, Blum, Calvin, HMMB BiD Center)

UPDATE

[2018-09-18 22:24:18 | Derek Calderon]

The upgrade has been completed and wireless networks are back online. Please email help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you experience any problems.
