The breaker serving our server room was blown, during a supposedly normal repair procedure on the UPS which failed Tuesday night.
Power, network, and services have been restored and the vendor technician responsible has finished and departed from the machine room.
We will coordinate with EECS Facilities to determine the correct repair path going forward, and will be questioning the vendor as to how a standard procedure could cause such a drastic failure. For the mean time we are again without battery backup in our main server room.
