winterm network failure

Due to unforeseen load on the network, a switch has failed in 290. Supported hosts include winterm.eecs. Support for winterm.eecs should resume in 30 minutes.

Service to winterm.eecs has been restored. The situation will be carefully monitored over the next few hours but no further service interruptions are anticipated at this time.

A number of other services were unavailable from 12:04pm to 12:08pm due to the network switch reset. These include:

www.eecs.berkeley.edu / www.cs.berkeley.edu lists.eecs.berkeley.edu jabber.eecs.berkeley.edu iris.eecs.berkeley.edu

All services have resumed normal operation.
