UPDATE
[2012-08-14 12:13:24 | Carlos Caceres]
The network trouble appears to be localized to part of 3rd floor Cory Hall, due to failing network hardware. Wireless networks are not impacted.
For those affected by this downtime who don’t have alternate means of networking (e.g. wireless), a temporary fix may be available: network staff may be able to re-route networking for machines temporarily to another subnet. Machines with fixed IP names, such as most printers, will not be able to be re-routed in this way.
Please see the Helpdesk in 395 Cory if you are in need of this temporary assistance.
UPDATE

It was the hardware failure of one of switches in that 3rd floor of Cory. The network services have been restored.
