AirBears experiencing some problems in Soda & Cory

August 24, 2009 by IRIS Staff

We are currently experiencing some problems with the AirBears Wireless LAN in both Soda and Cory. AirBears in Sutardja-Dai Hall is not affected at this time. All other EECS WLANs are not affected. IST has been notified of the issue.

The problem appeared to be a defective cable connecting the Access manager to a media converter. The cable was replaced.

UPDATE

[2009-08-26 08:43:13 | Fred A Archibald]

At this point, the issue does not appear to be related to wireless but may lie with the access manager that forwards all AirBears traffic. IST staff have been notified of the issue.
