This will affect all aspects of iris.eecs website, including the network database and user accounts applications.

The IRIS website was out of service all day on Monday, Aug 6 due to a problem encountered during the maintenance scheduled for Sunday, Aug 5. The database software refused to start after patching.
The database software had to be reinstalled and reconfigured from scratch, but no data was lost. At this time the website and database applications are all functioning normally again.
