rhea down time – no NIS, time or DNS service Tuesday April 24, 2018 7:15am-7:45am

April 24, 2018 by Mark Kraitchman

rhea will not be providing NIS, time and DNS services starting at 7:15 am Tuesday April 24, 2018.

A new server will become rhea shortly after 7:15 am. This upgrade is similar to the cronus upgrade last month.

Though the scheduled downtime is 7:15am to 7:45am, we expect actual downtime to be less. Devices should be able to use cronus for NIS, time and DNS services while rhea is down.

If you have any questions or notice any issues, please contact help@eecs aka the IRIS help desk (395 Cory M-F 9:30am-5pm, 642-7777)

UPDATE
