winterm crashed

June 4, 2012 by IRIS Staff

Our nagios monitor warned winterm’s CPU Load and Disk Usage were critical. Remote login was not available, and the trust between the host and the domain had broken.

After a few reboots (noticing the RAID tool reporting the HDs degraded, but the mirror holding for now)…

winterm is up

Given all these warning signs, a replacement is being built. Hopefully there will be no more down time and the transition will be soon, short, and unnoticeable!!
