The results of the EECS IT Survey are in and now available to the EECS community

There were 280 responses to the 1395 sent out, or ~20% response, lower than last year (30% response)
Some notable results:
* the majority of responses again came from grad students as grad students are the majority of our population
* the biggest decrease in satisfaction was with the email service which dropped 14 to 18 % from last year
* the biggest non-change was the continued dissatisfaction with webmail
* the great demand is for a revision control system
* more people are aware of and use the iris web site
* the process of getting hosts on the network continues to be difficult
* more users are using OSX and fewer are using Windows that the previous year
* the quality of support for the clusters has dropped
In addition, this year we took a sampling of questions and comments from the open dialog sections of the survey and have provided some responses:
