Total downtime should be brief and any messages sent to a Sympa mailing list will be queued and delivered after maintenance has been completed.

Scheduled maintenance has been postponed and there will be no scheduled downtime for the IRIS website or Sympa mailing lists on July 23, 2008.
The downtime was originally scheduled to update the kernel on one of our webservers, but that kernel has since shown to be unstable. RedHat has released an updated kernel fixing the instabilities, but we are unable to upgrade to it at the moment due to a dependency on an Oracle kernel module.
Once Oracle releases their updated module, we’ll schedule downtime appropriately.
