IMAP Server Temporarily Down

September 20, 2005 by IRIS Staff

IMAP Service is temporarily unavailable. IRIS staff are currently working on the problem.

UPDATE

[2005-09-20 16:02:42 | Michael Bordua, IDSG]

The IMAP server is now back up. The problem has been resolved.
There was a hardware problem with one of the SCSI interfaces to the mailstore. This caused the imap related processes to fail. We believe that no mail was lost, only queued until the problem was resolved.

UPDATE

[2005-09-20 14:53:21 | Michael Bordua]

IMAP server is experiencing hardware problems. The staff is working hard on it to bring it back up.
We will update on the issue when we get more information.
