  • EECS Border Firewall Changes, 6/24
    This morning, June 24th around 7:15 AM, we updated the firewall configuration for our Active Directory and Windows server infrastructure. Please contact us at help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you notice any possible issues.
  • EECS Border Firewall Changes, 6/23
    This morning, June 23rd at 7:15 AM, we made some adjustments to the configuration of the EECS border firewall. We do not expect these changes to have any effect on network traffic, but unanticipated effects may be possible. Please contact us at help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you notice any network connectivity issues.
  • June IRIS Server Patching
    Microsoft will release their patches for the month on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026. Various IRIS Windows and Linux servers will be patched and rebooted Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Linux servers lists.eecs, iris2.eecs, (for access to the network and roster databases) will be patched and rebooted Wednesday night.   • EECS DHCP Outage, May 19th
    We experienced an issue with our DHCP service this morning, which prevented a number of machines from connecting to the wired network. This issue began around 3AM and was resolved by 10:30AM.
