We are pleased to announce that the EECS Mailing List server, lists.eecs.berkeley.edu, is back in service. You can login to the web interface using your new EECS LDAP password. Please let us know of any issues.

Various websites hosted by EECS department webservice are temporarily being redirected here, to iris.eecs.berkeley.edu, while we continue work on the configuration of our webservers. Staff are working to restore normal webservice as soon as possible.
EECS DHCP Service RestoredAugust 28, 2026
We believe that DHCP service for EECS wired networks has been restored as of this afternoon (Friday, August 28). If you have a system on the wired network which cannot obtain an IP address, even after rebooting, please email dcalderon@berkeley.edu with the system’s MAC address and the cable ID it is connected to. IRIS Services DownAugust 25, 2026
We are aware that all IRIS services are currently down. More information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
login.eecs offlineAugust 18, 2026
Our unix login server, login.eecs, is temporarily offline. We will be building a new virtual machine to replace it, and hope to have it in service by tomorrow.
