bDrive Paid Storage Option

With the ending of unlimited free storage on bDrive, campus began their Google Cost Reduction Project. For those who need it, campus is offering a passthrough pay option for Shared Drives, for storage in 10TB increments. IRIS is making it possible for those in the College of Engineering to obtain storage in smaller 1TB increments, by handling the purchase of 10TB from campus and recharging accordingly for the smaller amounts.

Pass-through costs from campus are based on the current (2023-2024) rate and will be billed in increments of $144/TB/year. Future rates are subject to change. Billing will be done annually, beginning in November 2024, with no pro-rating for partial years.
