No Network Access for Some Machines

February 27, 2009 by Lars Rohrbach

As a result of some work being completed on the DHCP server this morning, some properly-registered mobile devices were refused DHCP support, so they were not granted access to EECS networks. Staff are in process of fixing the problem.

AirBears usage is not affected.

UPDATE

[2009-02-27 12:38:08 | Lars Rohrbach]

It appears that only recent updates to registered mobile systems were affected. Staff have addressed the problem and reinstated DHCP support for the affected systems.
