Network Border Maintenance, 6/20/17 7AM

We will be performing maintenance at the EECS network border at 7AM on Tues. June 20th. There may be a brief loss of connectivity between EECS and outside networks at this time.

If a loss of connectivity occurs, we expect it will likely last less than five minutes. In this event, the following traffic paths would be interrupted:

* EECS to campus networks
* EECS to Internet
* EECS to Millennium research


The following will not be affected:

* Traffic within EECS networks
* Millennium research connectivity to campus/Internet
* Science DMZ
* Private networks in the EECS DMZ (CESR, DETER)


“EECS” in this case refers to all wired and wireless production nets, all server and machine rooms, and all private networks not otherwise mentioned above.

Please contact help@eecs if you have any questions about this change or concerns about scheduling.

This maintenance was completed with only a brief (<1 min) outage. Please email help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you continue to have connectivity issues.
