Network Maintenance – Soda 5th Floor

We plan to failover to the backup uplink for the fifth floor of Soda Hall in order to troubleshoot a network issue. This action will be taken on February 3 around 6:00PM and it should take less than 5 minutes. No service interruption is expected, but in the event of a failure there may be a brief (5 minute) outage for some areas of the fifth floor. The failover will be complete by 6:15PM; if you are experiencing an outage after this time please email help@eecs.berkeley.edu.

This maintenance has been completed. A faulty 10G optic was identified as the cause of the errors and it has been replaced. Please email help@eecs.berkeley.edu if you continue to experience issues.
