Unscheduled Wireless Outage, HMMB and Sibley Auditorium

October 20, 2014 by Derek Calderon

We are currently experiencing an unscheduled wireless outage in some locations in the Hearst Memorial Mining Building, as well as in the Sibley Auditorium in the Bechtel Engineering Center. The outage is due to a campus zone router crash, and many campus-managed wired and wireless networks are also affected.

IST/Telecom is working to restore service and we will update this news item when service has been restored. We apologize for any issues caused by this interruption.

UPDATE

[2014-10-20 13:29:24 | Derek Calderon]

Service was restored to both the Hearst Memorial Mining Building and the Sibley Auditorium around 12:41 PM. Please let us know if you are experiencing any lingering issues.
