new SSL certificate for wireless

December 28, 2011 by IRIS Staff

We are renewing the SSL certificates for wireless using the UC Berkeley InCommon Certificate Service. You should be aware that some wireless devices may prompt you when connecting; it is okay to accept the new InCommon certificate.

UPDATE

[2011-12-29 04:06:38 | Aaron Culich]

Service has been restored to the EECS-Secure wireless network that was disrupted while installing new SSL certs. If your device prompts you, it is okay to accept the new Comodo/InCommon SSL certificates.

UPDATE

[2012-01-02 15:09:41 | Robert McNicholas]

Some systems may need to install the root and intermediate certificates from our new SSL certificate authority. These certificates can be downloaded from Comodo:

The Root CA cert is here:

https://support.comodo.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=9

And the Intermediate Root CA cert is here:

https://support.comodo.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=101
