While I realize that this post is somewhat vague, a lot depends on exactly when the UPS is delivered and how long it takes to install it. I will be posting more refined notes to narrow down the scope of what services will be out (and when) as time goes on.
While we realize that there may be some inconveniences for some, please bear with us as we strive update our services and minimize outages for the future
UPDATE
[2011-03-18 08:46:19 | Fred A Archibald]
Due to staffing complications, we have had to move the first outage to this coming Monday at 10:00AM. These outages should be brief as machines are moved to temporary power.
The second outage which will occur later in the week, should also be brief when power is moved to the new UPS. No lengthy down-times for system upgrades will be done until the semester ends. The date and time for the second down-time will be announced next week after we see how the UPS installation goes.
Again, we regret any inconvenience this may cause.
