EECS Spam Management Whitelist Problem

Some IMAP users who have created whitelists have reported that email which should have been whitelisted by domain has ended up in their Spam folders. The vendor, Barracuda Spam Appliance, has identified the bug, and will fix it in the next revision of the code.

Until the bug is fixed, there is a temporary work-around that solves the problem. When configuring a personal whitelist for a domain, be sure to add the ‘@’ in front of the domainname in the “Email Address” field under the “Allowed Email Addresses and Domains (Whitelist)”, i.e., ‘@berkeley.edu’ instead of ‘berkeley.edu’.
